about

The music here spans four decades of my musical career, hence the title "Times Lapses". It came about this way :
In 2005, my excellent musician friend Olivier Masselot, was challenged by a Record Company in Paris to do an Album with 18 shortened, re-arranged or re-produced songs of any of my music not on commercial CDs.
Therefore, having perfect confidence in him, I let him have whatever he wanted and gave him carte blanche to choose what inspired him most, experiment and send me the results for approval & advices. Unfortunately, despite wonderful results in our collaboration, the record deal fell through and the project shelved; that is until I could complete it by myself, since Olivier moved to Belgium with a new family and commitments.
However, not being used to compose or record very short pieces, it took me another four years (while working on other projects) to complete "Time Lapses".
But I think the wait was well worth it and I hope all my listeners will agree.
